Programming Projects

I have lost some old private repositories due to my old GitHub account being lost. All video records are up. VMM is a proprietary project to the organization, so I cannot link the Repo.

Food Image AI Predictor

I created a Food Predictor AI algorithm using Google Colab, created using TensorFlow and Keras, featuring deep learning. This is a continuation to my mobile app, ChefLens. I utilized the Fruit Classification dataset of over 22,000 images by EDWARD ZHANG.

ChefLens

ChefLens was a group project led by me. In this app, users are able to find recommended recipes, and search for any recipes that they want to make. Along with that, users are able to take a picture of ingredients, in order for the app to recommend recipes based on those ingredients. The video is merely an introduction to the app, but there is a lot more progress behind the scenes completed.

EmpathAI

EmpathAI - a fine-tuned AI model trained on datasets to provide therapeutic relief to those going through tough times. The AI Models utilizes PyTorch, CUDA, Flash Attention 2, Python as the backend with Uvicorn, NextJS as the front end, Fast API, and Huggingface to port AI models.

NaviGaze

Navigaze - a Python-based AI assistant that lets you control your computer using natural voice commands and your face to control your cursor! This project combines speech recognition, gaze-based cursor control, and automation to create a hands-free user experience.

CVision

CVision - An AWS fully serverless resume screening app powered by AWS Lambda (Python), S3, DynamoDB and Next.js. Built to impress recruiters with fast, accurate, and scalable resume analysis.

VMM Website & EMR System

I utilized PostreSQL, Flask, Bootstrap HTML for VMM EMR System and VMM Website. I worked for the Virtual Medicine Mission (VMM) Healthcare program to create a website & fully integrated, dynamic EMR notes system. Led to Bourns Engineering granting us $10,000 in funding for the program. I also led a team of 5+ developers to create the EMR system.

VMM has proprietary GitHub code that I can not open-source. All products are viewable on the Linktree.

FBLA Connect+

FBLA Connect+ was an app that was made on a game engine, which was a unique approach to the FBLA mobile app development competition. This project was awarded 5th in the FBLA State Leadership Conference. This was another group project that I led.

VGDMR: Video Game Design Marketing Relationships Data Science

VGDMR was a data science project that was created in order to help indie developers advertise their video games to the markets, which are highly competitive in modern times. As a video game developer myself, I understand the struggles of releasing applicaitons to an audience.

Leadership Legends

Leadership Legends is a video game made for the FBLA video game design challenge, another project that was led by me. I worked with a pixel art artist. We made it to 3rd in nationals for the FBLA National Leadership Conference. We introduced elements of the gameplay that we enjoyed making. This video game was created on Godot, which was used for FBLA Connect+ as well.

CNUSDSecure

CNUSDSecure was a group project made in Flutter using Dart that focused on centralizing my school's information and grade database into one convenient app. In addition to individual information, it also provides district-wide news & gives users an easy way to search for teachers in the district.

Partnered Organizations

  • I lead the CS team in the back-end department, from creating Doctor Portals (patient data) to filming and editing video documentation. We are recognized by Bourns Engineering and receive grants from them.
    VMMVirtual Medical Missions
  • I led a partnership for FBLA with Nektar Juice Bar and held workshops with a committee of 32 members, and coordinated with guest speakers from Nektar Juice Bar to speak to the youth about entrepreneurship.
    FBLAFuture Business Leaders of America
  • I led a team of 10+ developers to create a game called Project Agile, which has over 60,000 views on YouTube. I also led the team in creating a game called Project Agile Studios, which is a game development studio.

Hardships

Every project I've built has come with its own unique set of challenges - technical, personal, and logistical. At one point, I lost access to my GitHub account, wiping out years of work. It was a setback that forced me to rebuild, refocus, and push forward. On top of that, I had to rapidly learn new technologies like Flutter, React, and AI libraries with little guidance - all while juggling a full academic schedule and extracurriculars. These experiences tested my resilience, but ultimately made me a faster learner and more adaptive developer.

Working with Virtual Medical Missions (VMM) was both rewarding and turbulent. At one point, our internal CS team nearly collapsed - only three of us remained. I stepped up not just to build, but to rebuild the team itself. I organized and led workshops to train incoming developers, helping turn a struggling project into a self-sustaining system. Today, VMM has a growing developer pipeline, and I'm proud to have played a key role in its recovery and growth.

CVision was one of the most technically difficult things I’ve worked on. I had to connect AWS Lambda, S3, and DynamoDB into a single cohesive system - all from scratch. At the same time, I was diving deep into Python libraries (for NaviGaze) for real-time voice recognition and face tracking. Most of it was unfamiliar territory, and the debugging process was relentless. But by the end, I had built a fully functional, hands-free computing interface. It wasn’t easy, but it was incredibly fulfilling to see it come to life.
